"Sara and I deeply believe that HCES offers exactly what our children need. The academic and athletic excellence combined with Christian values will help prepare them to thrive in high school and beyond. In keeping with its mission statement, HCES truly provides an experience for our children which nourishes their spirits, challenges their minds and strengthens their bodies.
We are very grateful to those leaders who established Holy Comforter Episcopal School nearly sixty years ago, as well as those through the years who have made the growth decisions and financial contributions to create the wonderful school our children now attend. The construction of the classroom buildings, the purchase of the beautiful 84 acre campus, the building of the Student Center and the recent athletic advancements all contribute to the special place that is Holy Comforter. Most important are the teachers, administrators and staff who nurture the children, treat them as the unique creations of God that they are and challenge them to reach their full potential.
We are thrilled to be welcoming the new Head of School, Peter Klekamp, and feel certain that his leadership will help HCES continue to march ahead at the forefront of education in Tallahassee.
The next chapter of excellence for our school will be centered around the Middle School Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Building, which will assist our teachers in providing a rigorous, integrated curriculum combined with state of the art tools to help our children excel. We look forward to working with the HCES community to raise the funds necessary to make the STEM Building a reality.
Holy Comforter maintains a culture of continuous improvement, while holding steadfastly to its Christian core. Knowing this, we believe without a doubt that we have our children enrolled in the perfect educational environment."
